About the project

Located in Kiltegan, Co Wicklow, Humewood is a large Victorian Gothic castle designed in 1867 by architect William White (1825-1900).

In 2012 we were commissioned by Humewood Castle Estate in conjunction with Henry J Lyons Architects to produce new Victorian style stained glass windows to mark the restoration of the castle. The windows were based on motifs and imagery taken from the original existing stained glass in the castle and included the coats of arms of the current owners.

We are currently undertaking a new commission as part of a new museum to be housed in the Oculus room at the castle.
